I got an error saying my photo is too big.
You’ll need to reduce the size of your photo. You can do this using free software that should already be on your computer (like Preview or MS Paint), or a professional program like Adobe Photoshop.
Open your original file. Using your program’s size adjustment function, reduce the dpi (resolution) to 72 pixels. Then crop the photo to 200px wide and 300 px high. The file size should not be larger than 50 KB.

My profile link is not user-friendly. Can I change it?
Faculty have two URLs, one is the profile URL and one short URL to use on materials such as business cards. View your short URL here.
Login and go to the Academics tab and check/uncheck the program.
When I search for myself on Google (“[your name] USC”), my faculty profile doesn’t show up on results or the first page.
With a new profile, Google has to re-crawl our site. It can take between 72 hours and six months for the profile to show up on searches. We are also working on a more SEO friendly code to help in searches. This is an ongoing process.
Under the Academics menu tab, at the bottom left corner you should see a section to upload your CV. PDF is the recommended format. Please note when replacing/updating your CV, make sure to name the new CV the same file name as before. If not, your old CV will still be live and searchable by Google.
Click on the Publications menu tab, and add the publication citation and web link (if any) or upload a pdf version. Hit “Save Publication” when done.
